The factory receives fresh strawberry. Each batch is controlled by our quality
control service. Strawberries ends are cut off, then the fruit is
washed, checked and then frozen in order to preserve all natural nutritive and
taste characteristics.
This product is provided by important specialized plantations especially those
applying the best techniques known in the agricultural field as well as the
services required after plantation and at the harvest and in general, all
plantations apply the required care after the harvest according to the
instructions stipulated by the ISO, HACCP and EUREPGAP.
The strawberry processed within our factory must be completely ripe and of a
red color from the inside and the outside.
Those strawberries must contain a high degree of sweetened substance
from 7to11%.
On the other hand, the microbiologic analysis operations are carried out
regularly all over the preparation and production phases since the reception of
the raw product and during the next steps such as washing, sorting, freezing
and all the various successive periods as this is the only non cooked product
which cleanness and complete purity is obtained only during the sorting and
preparation phases.
We can provide strawberries in halves or other cuts upon request.
Recipes
MAKES 4 SERVINGS / Combine frozen Givrex Strawberries with some
water or milk; add sugar as desired in a blender and process until smooth. Pour
into glasses and serve immediately or the mixture can also be served
frozen.
